Once the recording is done, it's neccesary to produce the music, taking the raw material and turning it into a song.
Much like mixing ingredients together to make a meal, each track which is layed brings a new flavour to the music, the
trick is to mix these all togother in the right proportions and to present them as a whole song.
The recording technique; how it's recorded, what is recorded and how it is mixed all have a bearing on the finished product.
At Contact Studio, we employ the best production techniques using the best equipment and software there is.
We will always prefer to work with you during the production phase as what happens here will be your finished product.
Producing requires alot of 'Critical listening' which basically means listening to what you have and picking out what
is wrong, or potentially wrong with it. when we produce at Contact studio it's important to remember that the finished product
has to sound good, not just in the studio, but also when it is played on other peoples equipment, everything from a cheap
radio to a 10k sound system.
This is done by adding space and transparency to the mix, what you do hear is as important as what you don't hear.
